The Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre is a well known venue located in Irvine. Built in the 1980's it was later opened in 1981 and has a huge seating capacity of 16,085.

Previously known as the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, seating is raised adjacent to the stage, where audiences are treated to some incredible views of Irvine. As well as great views the theatre has hosted the biggest music artists and festivals ever: Uproar Festival, Area2 Festival, Gigantour, Projekt Revolution, Lollapalooza and Lilith Fair to anme a few. 2014 is no different with Kiss, Brad Paisley, Motley Crue, Santana all heading down for huge tour performances!
